Community Impact

OUTCOME:  Programs provide education, outreach, public awareness, and advocacy activities that result in the development or enhancement of services for people with brain injury.

DEFINITION: Community Impact involves the assessment, planning, identification and facilitation of activities that help a community build the capacity to provide specialized services to people with brain injury. Activities include information, referral, and support services provided through education, outreach, public awareness, and advocacy activities.
