After The Interview
Now that you have had an interview with an employer, you have one more thing to do that is very important. You need to send a follow-up letter to the person with whom you had the interview.
Here are a few things to include in your "thank you" letter:
- The name of the interviewer and his or her title
- Thank the interviewer for the opportunity to speak about your interest in working at the company
- Remind the interviewer about the job for which you interviewed
- Explain how interested you are in working for the company
- Tell the interviewer that you are hope to hear from the company
- Include your address and phone number where you can be reached
