Consumer Price Index

The Consumer Price Index website is provided below to assist employment service organizations in determining their new rates for vended services with the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services. New vendors and vended employment service organizations requesting rates above the CPI Rate will be required to submit a full Purchase of Service Package (POS).

When using this website, you will first need to go to Table 4 (Page 15) in the CPI Index. Go down the first column until you reach Commodity and Service Group-Other Services. You will then go across the columns until you reach the column that shows the Unadjusted percent change to that (month/year). Please note that CPI Rate changes every month-usually by mid-month.
