Purchase of Service (POS) Vendor Application Package
The purpose of the Purchase of Service (POS) Application process is to make consistent the presentation of the financial information from all the Employment Service Organizations (ESOs) so that equitable and accountable rates for the vending of approved employment services may be established. Rates are based on each provider's proposed costs for providing an approved service for the period of twelve months.
If an eligible consumer wishes to obtain services from an ESO, the rates established through the POS Application process will be utilized by the field rehabilitation counselor to purchase those appropriate services requested by the consumer. The POS process does not commit or guarantee a level of DRS financial support, it merely serves as a mechanism to identify which service may be available at what rate when programmatically approved by the Office of Employment Services and Special Programs (OESSP).
