General Vendor Services

DRS reviews all prospective vendors of goods and services to consumers. The need for the good or service, qualifications of the provider, program specifications, and costs are reviewed before a vendor is approved for use by DRS counselors. Types of goods and services approved may include: employment services through employment service organizations, medical services, higher education, vocational training, transportation, orthotics, and prosthetics. DRS maintains a fee schedule for frequently purchased goods and services that support consumers.
